DESCRIPTION:Looking for a fun way to break up the week? Come ride with us Tuesday night at Chewacla State Park. We’ll gather at the Lower Pavilion parking lot at 5:25 PM and head out a little after 5:30 PM CDT\, weather permitting. \n\n\n\nWe’re always happy to welcome new riders. \n\n\n\nWhat to Expect\n\n\n\nTuesday Night Rides are relaxed\, social\, and welcoming. We typically divide into two groups: \n\n\n\n\nA group for riders who like to push the pace\n\n\n\nA group that rides at a more relaxed\, steady pace\n\n\n\n\nChoose the group that feels right for you. \n\n\n\nTeens are welcome with a parent or guardian. Intermediate and up kids can join as long as they ride with you. \n\n\n\n🌙 Night rides at Chewacla are something special. The park allows us to ride after hours\, and we appreciate everyone helping us respect the park and trails so we can keep this privilege. \n\n\n\nWhat to Bring\n\n\n\n\nA mountain bike in good working order\n\n\n\nHelmet (required)\n\n\n\nFront and rear lights for night riding\n\n\n\nWater and snacks\n\n\n\nBring your own drinks (BYOB) if you’re sticking around for the grill\n\n\n\n\nHelmets are required for all riders. If yours didn’t make the trip\, ask around before the ride starts — several riders often have extras. \n\n\n\nPost-Ride Grill & Hangout\n\n\n\n🔥 After the ride\, stick around to grill and chill! Bring your favorite drink. It’s a great time to relax\, swap trail stories\, and hang out with fellow riders. \n\n\n\nSupport the Trails\n\n\n\n💚 Love riding these trails? DESCRIPTION:The Water Cycle is a gravel race held in Auburn\, AL to raise money for Auburn University’s Engineers Without Borders projects in Bolivia\, Guatemala\, and Tennessee. The event usually has about 100 riders and includes race options of 60\, 30\, and 15 miles on almost entirely gravel routes. This will be our fifth Water Cycle and all proceeds will go towards materials\, tools\, or other costs associated with our three projects.

Routes are chosen on the spot based on who shows up\, and we divide into groups so everyone can ride at a comfortable pace. \n\n\n\nYou’ll typically find groups ranging from: \n\n\n\n\nRelaxed\, social riders\n\n\n\nIntermediate riders looking for a steady pace\n\n\n\nFaster riders chasing a little more flow\n\n\n\n\nNo matter your experience level\, there’s a group for you. \n\n\n\nWhat to Bring\n\n\n\n\nA mountain bike in good working order\n\n\n\nHelmet (required)\n\n\n\nWater and snacks\n\n\n\nA positive attitude and willingness to have fun\n\n\n\n\nHelmets are required. If yours didn’t make the trip\, ask around before the ride begins — many riders carry extras. \n\n\n\nPark Entrance Fees\n\n\n\nChewacla State Park charges a gate fee: \n\n\n\n\nAges 12–61: $5\n\n\n\nAges 4–11: $3\n\n\n\nAges 62+: $3\n\n\n\nUnder 4: Free\n\n\n\nMilitary/Veterans with ID: Free\n\n\n\n\nBring a Friend\n\n\n\nGroup rides are a great way to meet new people and discover the trails.
