Why Volunteer with CAMP?

Make a Real Impact
Your time and effort help create and maintain nearly 70 miles of trail across the region — including 25 miles at Chewacla State Park, 30 miles in Tuskegee National Forest, and 12 miles at Swayback Bridge. That’s real, measurable impact that expands access to high-quality outdoor recreation for thousands of riders and hikers each year.

Build Community
Connect with a passionate group of riders, builders, and outdoor advocates who care deeply about the trails and the people who use them.

Grow Your Skills
From trail construction to event coordination and ride leadership, you’ll gain hands-on experience and practical knowledge — no prior experience required.

Ways to Get Involved

  1. Trail Maintenance & Building
Join a workday to maintain existing trails or help construct new features. We’ll provide guidance and tools — just bring sturdy shoes and a willingness to work.
  2. Event Support
Assist in planning and running races, festivals, youth programs, and weekly rides that grow mountain biking in our region.
  3. Leadership Opportunities
Lead group rides, mentor new riders, serve on committees, or step into an organizational role to help shape CAMP’s future.
