CAMP is a 100% volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 45-4893385) dedicated to strengthening Central Alabama communities through outdoor recreation, particularly mountain biking.
We have built and continue to maintain over 25 miles of trails at Chewacla State Park, 30 miles of trail at Tuskegee National Forest and 12 miles of trail at Swayback Bridge, and our work is made possible solely through memberships, donations, and volunteer labor; we receive no funding from park gate fees.
We are an official SORBA (Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association) Chapter and a recognized 1% for the Planet Environmental Partner located in central Alabama, headquartered in the Auburn/Opelika area. We are dedicated to improving the lives of the people living and visiting East Alabama.

To promote trail advocacy, health, wellness, and education by developing, maintaining, and riding sustainable multi-use trails.
Our Vision
To improve the quality of life for the people in the communities we serve by developing mutually beneficial relationships that support the growth of multi-use trail systems and the promotion of outdoor activities.
Through partnerships with the Auburn-Opelika Tourism Bureau, Chewacla State Park, and local businesses, we host competitions, group rides, and instructional classes that raise awareness of mountain biking and bring visitors to our trails. Our goal is to establish Central Alabama as a premier mountain biking destination.
