Thursday Night Dirtbags Gravel – Opelika

Come ride some gravel with the Trek Dirtbags! Every Thursday evening we roll out for a laid-back ride through the local dirt roads before gathering back at the Local for a post-ride social.

Leaving from Opelika. Call the Trek shop at 334-329-5004 for the location. Let them know CAMP sent you! Very friendly and welcoming group.

No gravel bike? No problem. Bring your mountain bike or commuter. You’re riding on dirt roads so bring high speed, low drag road bikes at your own risk.

We ride every Thursday at 7:00 PM for a ~14-mile no-drop ride.

Whether you’re new to gravel riding or a regular on the dirt roads, everyone is welcome.

What to Bring

• 🚲 A gravel bike or bike suitable for dirt roads
• 🪖 Helmet (required)
• 🔦 Front and rear lights (required)
• 💧 Water and snacks
• ✨ A good attitude and sense of adventure

Helmets and lights are required. If yours didn’t make the trip, ask around before the ride — several riders often carry extras.

Post-Ride Hangout

🍻 After the ride, stick around for a social. It’s the perfect chance to relax, grab a drink or bite to eat, and swap ride stories with the group.
